The Sumerians saw in some stars their hero Gilgarnesh fighting against the Bull and they call them "Ura-an-Na", among them Orion, the splendour of the sky. For the Syrians it was "Al Jabbar", the Giant, while the Egyptians called it "Sahu", Osiris's spirit.Rigel, the seventh for brightness in the sky, is the Beta star of Orion constellation and for the Arabians, easily apparent, it was the "Giant's left leg".
For us, Rigel. It is Brut Rose of Lagrein Kretzer, tempting in colour, magical in refinement, exotic in sensation like Orient from which it gets its name.
Your hand welcomes a pomegranate as well as a flûte.
This fruit is emotion, warm approach of friendliness.
A pleasant aesthetic feeling rises and indulges on the peculiarity of the subject, on chromatic shades. Moreover, it underlines diversity from customary which certainly assures but requires evasion.
We are Eve's children, luckily a blood tie exists, and we are victims of curiosity and desire. Then it is gestural capacity. This gesture introduces an olfactory comment taken by surprise by the typicality and novelty of the sensations. Impressions are removed like grains. It tastes of ? It reminds me of? , and it is back on the palate, it lingers on the papillae. Anyway, the critical approach is always kind, influenced by spontaneous benevolence. It is nature, dawn or sunset, immediacy or meditation.
Rigel comes from Lagrein Kretzer grapes. It is balance of colour; violet essence becomes perfume to communicate its personality, it discloses its presence with indifferent but intended seduction.
It is graceful character, but still character. It plays with appearances, it enjoys looking like marasca cherry, sweet and sour, it comes as a sweet almond and fades inside the dusk of sensations. It is evolved.
It is not immediacy in its maturity, in fact it was born months ago and it trained the characters for a serious and classical introduction. It is to be met in solitude. Its shades, scent, character must walk alone before coming across the crowd of sensations.

Pairing
Of course, it could be considered an “aristocratic” chalice offered to an elegant “democratic” apéritif. “Rigel” is a brut rosé that likes going with a Japanese vegetable tempura. Furthermore on buffet it loves to be matched with fish or white meat appetizers or with many versions of sushi showing its elegant character. Rigel is strongly attracted by medium mature cheeses and even by the “impossible” dairy cheese.
